How do I renew my Tennessee license?

Your Tennessee residential contractor license expires every 2 years from when it was issued. To renew your license you are required to obtain 8 hours of continuing education from a board approved provider. Like us! 

Here's how you'll do that: 

1. Purchase a continuing education course. For Tennessee you will need 8 credit hours. You can purchase them as a bundle or individually

2. Complete the course and obtain your certificate(s.) Keep them for your record. We will submit your credits to the state for you. We submit certificates daily.

3. Complete the renewal process with the state. Visit All For Contractors to obtain your CE credits for your next license renewal. 

How do I renew my Alabama license?

Your Alabama residential contractor license expires every year. To renew your license you are required to obtain 6 hours of continuing education from a board approved provider. 2 hours must come from an Alabama specific course. For Alabama specific courses hblb.alabama.gov.

What you'll do: 

1. Purchase a continuing education course. For Alabama you will need 6 credit hours. You can purchase 4 hours from AFC, the remaining 2 must be Alabama specific. You can purchase your courses as a 4 Hour Bundle or choose your own courses by purchasing them individually. 

2. Complete the course and obtain your certificate(s.) Keep them for your record. We will submit your credits to the state for you. Certificates are submitted daily.

3. Complete the renewal process with the state. Visit All For Contractors to obtain your CE credits for your next license renewal.
